Background Information:
Members of the protein kinase C family fall into three categories: conventional (PKC alpha, beta I, beta II, gamma), novel (delta, epsilon, eta, mu, theta), and atypical (lambda, zeta). Conventional PKC isoforms are dependent on calcium and diacylglycerol (DAG) for their activity, whereas novel PKC isoforms are calcium dependent, and atypical PKC isoforms are calcium and DAG independent.

Control:
Jurkat cell lysate. Included Positive Antigen Control: Catalog # 12-303, Jurkat cell lysate. Add 2.5 μL of 2-mercaptoethanol/100 μL of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20 μg of reduced lysate per lane for minigels.
Quality Assurance:
Routinely evaluated by Western Blot on Jurkat cell lysate.
Western Blot Analysis:
