Functional Aspects:
C-kit is involved with blood gamete and melanocyte development. It is found in normal breast epithelium, melanocytes, mast cells, glial cells and in certain carcinomas, glioblastomas, melanomas and certain leukaemias. This antibody will help detect the presence of c-kit in normal and neoplastic tissues. |
