Functional Aspects:CD23 functions as a low affinity IgE receptor on B cells. It is found on B lymphocytes, some peripheral blood cells and on EBV transformed B lymphoblastoid cell lines. This antibody will help detect CD23 expression on normal and uncharacterized tissues.
