pFUSEN-hG1Fc is a cloning plasmid for the generation of a Fc-fusion protein expressing the Fc region (CH2 and CH3 domains) of the human IgG1 heavy chain and the hinge region fused to the N-terminus of a protein of interest.
Human IgG1-Fc exhibits moderate to high affinity for FcγRs and complement receptors, thus triggering strong ADCC and CDC, respectively.
Currently, all Fc-fusions licensed for clinical use contain the IgG1-Fc domain.
