AFLP® Analysis System for Microorganisms
AFLP® Analysis Systems enable the identification of DNA polymorphisms using selective primers, classical fingerprinting techniques, and PCR to amplify a subset of genomic restriction. Three different AFLP® Analysis Systems are available:
■The AFLP® Analysis System I is designed for use with plants having genomes ranging in size from 5 x 108 to 6 x 109 bp, including tomato, corn, soybean, cucumber, lettuce, barley, cotton, oilseed rape, potato, sunflower, pepper, and brassica.
■The AFLP® Analysis System II is designed for use with plants having genomes ranging in size from 1 x 108 to 5 x 108 bp, including Arabidopsis, rice, peach, and cucumber.
■The AFLP® Analysis System for Microorganisms is designed for use with bacteria such as Agrobacterium, Xanthamonas, E. coli, and Pseudomonas, and fungi such as Collectotrichum, Pyricularia, and yeast.
