Background Information: The recombinant VEGF-C (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-C) is a 125 amino acid protein that lacks the N-terminal signal peptide (from T103 to R227 of Gene Bank U58111). Human VEGF-C exhibits about 85% homology with murine VEGF-C.
