Functional Aspects:Tyrosinase is an enzyme involved with the synthesis of melanin in melanocytes. Lack of tyrosinase is associated with certain forms of albinism. This antibody will help detect tyrosinase and identify cells of melanocytic origin in uncharacterized tissues.
