This antibody will help detect cytokeratin 17 that is expressed in basal cells of complex epithelia such as pseudostratified epithelium in the trachea, larynx and bronchi. Myoepithelial cells in salivary and sweat glands are also positive, and malignant cells of certain squamous cell carcinomas. |
