Functional Aspects:Cytokeratin 1 is found in complex squamous epithelium such as foot sole epidermis, ectocervix and anal canal epithelium. It is not present in normal or abnormal epithelia of hepatocellular origin or ductal origin like breast or pancreas. This antibody will help identify squamous epithelium in normal and uncharacterized tissues.
