Functional Aspects: CD10 was identified as the common acute lymphoblastic antigen (CALLA) and was initially regarded as being tumor-specific. It is however widely expressed on normal and neoplastic cells. In some lymphoid malignancies, such as lymphoblastic, Burkitts and follicular lymphomas and chronic myelocytic leukaemia CD10 is expressed on the surface of these cells. This antibody will help identify CD10 expression in uncharacterized tissues. |
