Loganin
Description
An iridoid glycoside from the root of Dipsacus asper. Exhibits moderate neuroprotective effects against the AB (25-35) induced cell death in PC12 cells. Possesses specific inhibitory activity against B-secretase, which suggests that Loganin may be used to attenuate the progression and/or prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
