Isoliquiritigenin
Description
A natural flavonoid present in licorice, shallot and bean sprouts. Known to induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of various cancer cells. Dual inhibitor of histone deacetylase (HDAC) enzymes and NF-KB. Also prevents 6-hydroxydopamine-induced apoptosis in dopaminergic neurons.
