Ramoplanin
Description
A lipoglycopeptide antimicrobial isolated from the fermentation products of Actinoplanes sp. Its antimicrobial activity is limited to Gram-positive bacteria. Ramoplanin's primary cellular target is the transglycosylation step of peptidoglycan biosynthesis.
