beta-Cembrenediol
Description
A compound found in cigarette smoke condensate and were shown to inhibit tumor promotion by tetradecanoylphorbol acetate by inhibiting the early antigen of the Epstein-Bar virus. Their degradation products are responsible for tobacco flavors.
