Antipain dihydrochloride
Description
A natural protease inhibitor and known inhibitor of carcinogenesis induced by the S-phase dependent alkylating agent N-methyl-N-nitro-N-nitroso guanidine. Experiments also show in human lymphocytes antipain can suppress chromosomal aberrations induced by x-ray and reduces nuclear binding of estrogen-receptor complex in MCF-7 breast tumor cells.
