N-Glycolyl-MDP VacciGrade™
N-glycolyted muramyldipeptide
The NOD2 agonist, MDP (muramyl dipeptide), is the minimal bioactive peptidoglycan motif common to all bacteria and the essential structure required for adjuvant activity in vaccines. The cell wall of mycobacteria is extremely immunogenic and this potent activity is attributed to their MDP which is N-glycolylated. N-glycolyl-MDP displays strong NOD2-mediated activity and is considered a potent Th1-biased adjuvant.
N-Glycolyl-MDP VacciGrade™ is suitable for preclinical studies. It is prepared under strict aseptic conditions. It is guaranteed sterile and thoroughly tested for the presence of endotoxins.
N-Glycolyl-MDP VacciGrade™ is for research use only, not for use in humans.
