Primer set for the real-time quantification of the IFN response
Recent reports indicate that certain siRNAs and shRNAs can induce off-target effects by activating the interferon pathway. To determine whether a given siRNA or shRNA is immunostimulatory, InvivoGen has developed a set of primers that detect the expression of human genes involved in the IFN response by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) using the SYBR® Green detection.
