MMP-8, Human Neutrophil
Matrix Metalloproteinase 8, Human Neutrophil Collagenase, Collagenase-2
Native pro-MMP-8 from stimulated human neutrophils. MMP-8 is an N-linked, complex glycoprotein that preferentially hydrolyzes Type I collagen versus Types II and III. Activated MMP-8 is inhibited by TIMP-1. Requires activation just prior to use. MW 58800/44000. Note: 1 mU = 1 milliunit.
