Specificity: The monoclonal antibody (clone 1.71.256) reacts with free and bound digoxigenin.
Working concentration:
ELISA: 2 - 4 µg/ml
Immunohisto/cytochemistry: 0.5 - 2 µg/ml
In situ hybridization: 0.2 - 0.4 µg/ml
Western blot: 0.5 - 2 µg/ml
Background Information
Preparation: Balb/c mice were immunized with edestin-bound digoxigenin; the spleen cells were subsequently fused with myeloma cells of the cell line P3X63Ag8.653. The antibodies were purified by gel filtration, diluted in 10 mM potassium phosphate, 75 mM NaCl, 5% raffinose (w/v), 0.1% Kathon CG (w/v), pH 7.8, then lyophilized.
