1X Neurobasal® Medium, minus phenol red
Neurobasal® Medium Minus Phenol Red is a basal media that meets the special requirements of pre-natal and embryonic neuronal cells when used with GIBCO® B-27® Supplement, but without Phenol Red. Neurobasal® Medium can be used to grow neuronal cells from hippocampus, cortex and other regions of the brain. Neurobasal® Medium allows for both long and short term maintenance of homogeneous populations of neuronal cells without the need of an astrocyte feeder layer.
Use Neurobasal® Medium Minus Phenol Red for applications in which the presence of Phenol Red will interfere with your results.
