Talin (human), mAb (TA205) Talin is a large (225kDa) member of the ezrin, radixin and moesin gene family. It is involved in cell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix transmembrane contact formation by binding the intracellular C-terminal domain of integrin β-chains to actin filaments in association with vinculin and α-actinin. In cultured cells, talin has been localized principally to focal adhesions and membrane ruffles.
