Description
GeneRuler 1 kb Plus DNA Ladder is recommended for sizing and approximate quantification of a wide range of double-stranded DNA on agarose gels. The ladder is a mixture of chromatography-purified individual DNA fragments.
GeneRuler™ 1 kb Plus DNA Ladder can be labeled radioactively with T4 Polynucleotide Kinase, see protocol.
The ladder is supplied with 6X DNA Loading Dye for sample DNA.
Quality Control
Well-defined bands are formed during agarose gel electrophoresis.
The DNA concentration is determined spectrophotometrically.
The absence of nucleases is confirmed by a direct nuclease activity assay.
