Functional Aspects: Cytokeratin 20 appears to be normally expressed in intestinal epithelial, gastric folveolar epithelium, certain endocrine cells in pyloric glands, urethelium and Merkel’s cells in epidermis. Cytokeratin 20 is of interest due to its more restricted presence in tissues than other type I cytokeratins. This antibody will help identify cytokeratin 20 and identify other uncharacterized tissues. |
