Functional Aspects:The cyclin D proteins function predominantly by regulating cyclin dependent kinase activity in the G1 phase of the cell cycle. Cyclin D1 expression has been shown to be amplified in tumors such as breast cancer and mantle cell lymphoma. This antibody will help detect the presence of cyclin D1 in normal and uncharacterized tissues.
