Biological Activity: The human ENA-78 produces chemotaxis over a wide concentration range in an assay using human peripheral blood neutrophils. Significant chemotaxis was achieved using a concentration of 50 ng/ml.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1 µg/µl. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum.

Background Information: ENA-78 (Epithelial Neutrophil Activating Peptide-78) is a recently discovered chemoattractant and activator for neutrophils, belonging to the IL-8 subgroup of the C-X-C family of chemokines. The human ENA-78 is an 8.0 kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues.
